This is JAS-certified (Organic certification in Japan) Pure Matcha powder. Only first grade tea leaves are picked and grounded carefully by a stone mill as a traditional way. This is a ceremonial level of Matcha, so you can enjoy traditional Japanese Matcha. Whisk the powder into hot water for a rejuvenating drink.
How to Make the Perfect Matcha
Matcha : 2g per person
Hot water : 70-80 ml per person (Depending on personal preference)
Water temperature : 80℃/176°F
1. Pour boiled water into Matcha bowl with Tea whisk to warm them up
2. Pour Matcha poweder into Matcha bowl by shifting. (*)
3. Pour hot water into Matcha bowl
4. Whisk the matcha briskly in a M motion using your wrist until the matcha has a thick froth with many tiny bubbles on the surface.
※You may find that some of the powder have formed small clumps. To get rid of these clumps is one of the keys to make a smooth cup of matcha tea. You can get rid of these clumps using a normal household tea strainer.
